Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- The first of August brings some good news from local doctors who say there’s not much going around right now.

In Camillus, Dr. Rovall says some children have a fever from a summer virus and there are also a few cases of the stomach bug.

In Liverpool, a stomach bug is going around and some kids have a fever and are vomiting. Dr. Dracker is also seeing the coxsackie virus.

Sore throats – both strep and viral – and sinus infections are going around in Auburn.

In Fulton, Urgent Care checks in with sore throats and swimmers ear.

In Fayetteville, strep throat is going around, along with sinus infections.

In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello checks in with allergies.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatments.
