Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - In this week’s check of What’s Going Around, doctors from around Central New York are seeing many people with sore throats – not strep, but viral.

Camillus: Dr. Rovall is seeing a viral sore throat and lots of babies are coming in with a high fever, also likely caused by a virus, as well as pink eye.

Liverpool: Dr. Dracker is seeing RSV in babies, bronchitis, ear infections and still some flu.

Pulaski: Dr. Carguello is also checking in with sore throats and an upper respiratory infection.

Fulton: The Urgent Care says they, too, are seeing sore throats, some viral some strep.

Cicero: Dr. Terasaka is seeing sore throats as well – both strep and viral, as well as the stomach bug and pink eye.

Auburn: The flu is still going around in Auburn. Doctors are also reporting some upper respiratory infections, sore throats and bronchitis.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your doctor can tell what the best treatment is.
