Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - In this week’s check of What’s Going Around, the good news is there’s no sign of the nasty stomach bug called Norovirus. But strep throat tends to peak in February and March, and from what our doctors are telling us, it's arriving right on schedule.

Camillus: Dr. Rovall says she usually sees one or two kids a day with strep - this week it's jumped to five or six. The other kids have viral sore throats. She’s also seeing croup, the stomach bug and colds with ear infections.

Fulton: Strep throat is also going around in Fulton. The urgent care says they're also seeing an upper respiratory infection and much less flu.

Cicero: Dr. Terasaka says flu cases have greatly decreased. He's seeing colds with a cough and the stomach bug.

Syracuse: Brighton Hill Pediatrics says it's been quiet, what they are seeing mostly is a virus that causes a fever and stomachache, also ear infections and sinus infections

Liverpool: Dr. Dracker is seeing RSV that causes wheezing in babies. Bronchitis is going around along with the stomach bug, but very little flu.

Pulaski: Dr. Carguellio checks in with the flu, bronchitis and the stomach bug.

Auburn: They're still seeing the flu in Auburn, along with strep throat and the stomach bug.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatments.
