Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Sore throats and tick bites are sending Central New Yorkers to their doctors this week.
Camillus: Dr. Rovall says there is a bad sore throat going around and it lasts nearly a week. He has seen children with the stomach bug. His office has seen many cases of poison ivy and tick bites this week.
Liverpool: Dr. Dracker has seen a sore throat with a cough going around. Tick bites have been very common and Dracker says that they should always be evaluated by a doctor. His office has seen croup going around and other children suffering with allergy symptoms.
Fulton: Urgent Care reports tick bites, pink eye and upper respiratory issues cause by allergies.
Pulaski: Dr. Carguello is seeing patients with sore throats and allergies.
Auburn: Auburn health care professionals say allergies, sinusitis, sore throats and poison ivy have been seen.
