“I read an e-mail urging women not to drink bottled water that has been left in a car - the heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. Is this true?”

No, it's not. We checked the Urban Legends Reference page and the e-mail is false. It has been circulating on the internet since last year. The basis for it was a college student's paper that was not subject to peer review and did not contain scientifically accurate or reliable information.
