Syracuse (WSYR-T) - New Yorkers like to think of themselves as active, busy people. But where do they stack up compared to residents of other states?

Using statistics from the Department of Labor, Business Week Magazine used a formula that included time spent working and time spent watching television to establish a ranking system for America's laziest states.

The NewsChannel 9 morning team then broke down that List.

Number five on the List was Tennessee and number four was North Carolina. Number three on the List was Arkansas, while number two was Mississippi. Finally, the laziest state according to the List was Louisiana.

New York, for the record, clocked in as the 11th laziest state.
