Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The college football season is fast approaching. While there is some local optimism, most fans of the sport don't have high expectations for the Syracuse Orange.
But does Syracuse ranks as one of the worst college football teams going into the season?
Maxim magazine recently offered a List of the worst teams in college football and that publication seems to agree with the general consensus, although not the worst, Syracuse clocked in at No. 5 among the most unwatchable college football teams.
The top four included Duke at No. 4, Vanderbilt at No. 3, and Virginia at No. 2. The worst college football team, according to Maxim, was Washington State.
