Portion of I-690 Eastbound reopen to traffic

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A stretch of I-690 Eastbound from the Teall Avenue exit to the Thompson Road exit in the city of Syracuse is now open to traffic.

The highway was scheduled to reopen at noon on Monday.

The New York State Department of Transportation confirmed the extension on Monday morning.

Last week, I-690 Westbound between the same exits was scheduled to reopen at noon, but remained closed until midnight.
