Skaneateles (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of a man killed in a crash on Route 20 in Skaneateles on Friday afternoon.

Adam Heck, 22, of 8526 Henry Clay Blvd. in Clay, was killed when his pick-up truck - registered to his employer, The Real Estate Sign Man - collided with a Culligan water truck.

The accident occurred on the county line separating Onondaga and Cayuga counties.

Witnesses say Heck's truck was traveling eastbound when it swerves into the path of the oncoming Culligan Water Company truck. According to the witnesses, the pick-up truck driver may have been driving erratically.

Sheriff's Investigators do not believe alcohol was involved in the accident. They believe Heck may have suffered from a medical condition.
