Geddes (WSYR-TV) – Some Central New Yorkers are wondering whether or not there will be any special free-admission days at the New York State Fair this year.
Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28 are Senior Citizen Day, which means anyone 60 years of age and older will get in for free.
Thursday, August 30 is Veterans Day. All active-duty military personnel and veterans will receive free admission with proper ID.
Native American Day and Students Day will be held on Friday, August 31. On that day, Native Americans and students under 16 will be admitted for free.
And, according to Country Living Magazine, The New York State Fair is one of the five best state fairs in the country. It was singled out for its produce, food, educational exhibits, wines and rides.
