Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Throughout 2011, you helped police solve dozens of burglaries, assaults and robberies, but there’s still a case that needs your help – a robbery earlier this month at the Key Bank in Nottingham Plaza.

Police just released surveillance footage in hopes of catching the suspect.

In the video, you see the well-disguised robber making a very quick entrance and a frightening exit, pointing a gun at a customer as he runs out of the building.

He can also be seen pointing the gun at a bank teller before grabbing a fist full of cash.

You can’t really see the suspect’s face, but police hope you’ll recognize what he was wearing and holding.

The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the words Syracuse Alumni written across the front in black letters. He was also wearing gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

In the video, you see the suspect stuff the cash into a black drawstring bag with some sort of writing on it, however it’s hard to make out the writing that’s on it because he quickly fled the bank towards Tecumseh Road.

The suspect has been described as a tall man with a lean build.

Take a good look at the surveillance video and photos. If you recognize the suspect, call 449-3640.
