Case Closed: stolen helmet has been returned

North Syracuse, New York (WSYR-TV) - Cicero Police say they received several tips after we posted this photo on our web site.

After they followed up on a tip on a possible suspect, Police say soon the helmet was anonymously returned. The shop owners are happy to have the helmet back.

Cicero Police say the case is now closed.

North Syracuse, New York (WSYR-TV) - A man stuffed a KBC motorcycle helmet under his shirt and stole it from Micro Bore Inc. on 6041 East Taft Road, in North Syracuse, on Monday, September 14.

The store’s security cameras took these photos of the suspect, and the store is working with Town of Cicero Police to try and catch him. They ask that anyone with information on the man or the helmet call Town of Cicero Police, or Micro Bore Inc.
