In response to Clara calling them 'dirtbags', I think that's unfair. I know both of these young men and they are not dirtbags. They made a bad choice, for sure, and their parents are hurting as much as the two men are. Don't be so quick to put them down. If you were facing hard times, and found a wallet, would you have returned it? most people would, but these 2 young men saw it as a solution. now it is their worse nightmare.

What this person did is wrong, no question. I'm sure he will pay for what he has done. To make comments about his mother and what he looks like? It seems to me that his parents care about his future and i'm sure thier disapointed with his actions and believe that he should be punished for what he did and some day when you grow up and have kids of your own you may understand this. But, first you have to grow up!!I commend his mother for doing the right thing and can only hope that more parents would step up to the plate and take responcibility for the actions of children.

First, I blame the person for leaving their cart unattended. Even so, this does not make it right. I am glad they caught this thief and I hope this person learned a lesson by not keeping the cart unattended.

Where have you people been! It's been many years since we've had to show cashiers our credit cards. We swipe our card it and put it away.

I worked for a place that didn`t care. They get their money from the bank. All the place cared about was making the sale. It could be a little kid, the owner would say their parents got them the card. I never once looked a the back of the card.
