Caught: Stolen credit card suspect

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse police have made another arrest, thanks to OnTheLookout.net.

Thirty-five-year-old Adrian Delgado was Caught on Tape using a stolen credit card at Price Chopper.

Police tell us a visitor to the website recognized Delgado. Police say he found the card at Lowe's and then went on a shopping spree.

Police will not be charging the two other men on the tape; they ran into Delgado at the Price Chopper and he offered to buy them items using the card.

Stolen Shopping Spree? On the Lookout

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse police are ‘On the Lookout’ for three people who took advantage of a man who lost his wallet. Store surveillance video catches the trio during one of their shopping sprees at a grocery store. 

Police want to question the men about the use of a stolen credit card at Price Chopper on Erie Boulevard on a Thursday evening.

By the time they traveled together through the store and made a stop at the register, their grocery cart was full.  Police say they racked up a $250 bill at Price Chopper and made other shopping trips.

Charges totaled $1,000 on that stolen credit card, with no questions asked at any of the registers. “No one ever checks to look at signatures, no one really checks IDs, and they should be doing that,” said Sgt. Tom Connellan with the Syracuse Police Department.

Police recommend you write "Check ID" on the back of your credit card. “This way when the clerk sees the credit card, they have to ask for your id, people don't mind showing the pictures,” Connellan said.
