North Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Last month, a 75-year-old man withdrew money from an ATM in North Syracuse. He forgot to take his card with him when he left – and he forgot to clear out his personal account information.
“The next individual in line, stepped up to the machine and possibly hit the button that asked, do you want another transaction. (He) pressed yes and withdrew $200 from the victim’s account,” says North Syracuse Police Officer Jeff Trip.
The crime is considered a misdemeanor, not a felony. The suspect is 30-35 year old. He has short hair and had some kind of logo on his shirt.
If you happen to know who the man is, give North Syracuse Police a call at 458-5670.
