Police release surveillance image from Utica drugstore robbery
Utica (WSYR-TV) – Utica Police have released a surveillance image from a robbery at a drugstore on Genesee Street.
They also clarified that the suspect they are looking for is a large male with a heavy build rather than a muscular build as had been initially indicated. In addition, the suspect was caught on camera wearing a plaid jacket during the incident.
According to police, the suspect entered a Rite Aid location at 1924 Genesee St. and threatened a clerk with a gun.
He was described as wearing a dark mask and gloves.
The man got away with some cash.
The company is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
