Suspect using forged check caught on tape

LaFayette (WSYR-TV) -- State Police in LaFayette are putting you On the Lookout for a woman accused of stealing another woman’s checkbook at a doctor’s office in Auburn.

Police say the woman was caught on surveillance video at the Bon Ton store in Camillus using one of the victim’s checks.

The victim cancelled her checks right after she realized someone had taken them, so the check turned up forged on October 10.
