Liverpool (WSYR-TV) -- Liverpool Police need your help finding a suspected liquor store thief.

Police say employees at Nichol’s Liquor Store in Liverpool noticed three bottles – or $125 worth -- of Absolut vodka was missing after the suspect left the store on Wednesday afternoon.

The store does have surveillance cameras, so store employees checked it out. Store owner Mike Hennigan says the suspect can be seen on camera putting the bottles down his pants.

Hennigan says the man did pay for a small, inexpensive bottle of liquor before leaving the store, but it’s what he didn’t pay for that costs us all.

“We all read on a national level how many millions of dollars it is. It certainly impacts all businesses, small businesses in particular,” Hennigan told NewsChannel 9. “Hopefully, we can find this guy so he doesn’t do it to other stores.”

Take a look at the attached surveillance photos. If you recognize the man pictured, call Liverpool Police at 457-0722, extension 313.
