Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Law enforcement personnel in the city of Syracuse and Onondaga County are looking for the public’s help in finding burglary suspects who they believe struck six times in one night, smashing windows and stealing cars.
“Brazen…these guys went from store to store in the city and the county,” said Syracuse Police Sgt. Tom Connellan.
Early Wednesday morning, the trio was Caught on Tape outside World Gold Fashion on North Geddes Street getting ready to strike. Later, they were Caught on Tape at Pawn King on West Genesee Street.
“They were really hanging out at those shops, looking in windows, so not a lot of fear of getting caught,” Connellan said.
They also visited two auto shops, stealing two vehicles. Both of the vehicles were recovered. Police say the three suspects hit places in both the city and the county.
“We think if people know these guys, and take a good look at them, they might help us with an idea of who they area,” Connellan said.
Syracuse Police are working with DeWitt Police and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information should call (315) 442-5222.
