Walmart theft suspects turn themselves in

East Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – We put you “On the Lookout” for a pair of Walmart computer thieves who were caught on tape. Well, you can cancel that search.

Police say 41-year-old Lori McWhite and her husband, 34-year-old John McWhite turned themselves in after their friends and family recognized them in the surveillance video we aired.

The pair is accused of stealing nearly $1,000 worth of computers from the Bridge Street Walmart.

Both are facing theft charges. John is also charged with grand larceny.

Both have been issued appearance tickets.
