Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse police have arrested a man wanted for shoplifting.

Syracuse Police advised shop owners and employees to take a good look at 35-year-old Larry Cosby Monday night. Police arrested him at an old address on Tuesday.

“If he goes in your store and if it’s not nailed down, there’s a good chance he’s going to walk off with it,” Sgt. John Savage said.

Cosby is also accused of stealing $500 worth of women’s jewelry and pawning it at a nearby downtown store. Over the years, he’s racked up plenty of theft charges.

“He has 94 prior arrests, resulting in 128 charges and has given a different address after his arrests. We have perhaps as many as 49 different addresses listed for him over the past 20 years,” Sgt. Savage told NewsChannel 9. “We're paying more because of people like him, who steal products from stores.”
