May 5, 2009:
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – This week’s Fugitive of the Week is someone who’s certainly no stranger to police, having been arrested roughly 50 times for various offenses.
Myron Thomas is wanted for failing to show up for his mandatory probation meetings.
He’s on parole in connection with a 2006 incident in which Thomas got into a fight with another man along Glenwood Avenue.
The fight spilled out into the street; Thomas got into a car, and ran the man over. The victim survived, and Thomas was convicted of assault.
He's been known to frequent Syracuse's west side, where he used to live. Deputy U.S. Marshals need your help to learn where he's living now.
“It's just a matter of time before something else happens ... he runs over another victim or he commits other criminal activity,” says Task Force supervisor Joe Ciciarelli.
Thomas is 5’ 9”, weighs 160 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair.
If you know where Myron Thomas is give the Fugitive Task Force a call at 473-7625. All calls will remain confidential.
