Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The man wanted by the Fugitive Task Force for violating his federal probation was picked up by authorities Tuesday afternoon.
The task force arrested Clinton Hill, Jr. in the 1600 Block of Park Street. He was running out of the back of the house just as the authorities were arriving.
After a brief foot chase, Hill, Jr. was taken into custody without incident.
The Task Force says they received tips Hill, Jr. was at the location, and quickly responded.
Hill, Jr. had previously been arrested more than 50 times since 1996, on everything from assault, drug and weapons charges.
Hill, Jr's last arrest happened here in the 300 block of Rich Street. Police saw him toss a gun into a bush after he shot at a man. The weapons conviction sent him to federal prison for nearly four years. He was wanted for violating his federal probation.

Now he's wanted for violating his federal probation. “We've come to the conclusion that he's very violent, unpredictable and at this point, we consider him armed and dangerous,” Chris Amoia, a U.S. Marshal said.
Hill's last known address was Boyden Street, in Syracuse. The Fugitive Task Force says he's been known to hang out on the east, north and south sides of Syracuse. “We're urging the public now to take a look at his photo to see if there's any information that might lead to his arrest,” Amoia said.
