Fugitive of the Week: Steven Towndrow
Sept. 19, 2011

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- He’s avoided capture for six months and now the police are turning to you for help. This week’s fugitive has half a dozen prior arrests and there are now two more warrants for his arrest.

Steven Towndrow, 23, is wanted on a drug charge and aggravated harassment. Detectives say he’s been skipping court dates and believe he may have skipped town.

Fugitive Task Force supervisor Joe Ciciarelli told NewsChannel 9, “We have checked numerous addresses, multiple associates, and every place we hit, he's gone somewhere else.

“We can only assume by him running and doing these types of things, he may be back possessing narcotics, or dealing narcotics again,” Ciciarelli continued.

Towndrow has a medium build, is 5-foot-10-inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Detectives have been close to finding him, but obviously not close enough. They're hoping someone recognizes his face, and calls in a tip. Take a good look at the attached video. If you know where police can find Towndrow, call (315) 473-7625.
