Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are looking for help finding a 22-year-old fugitive who is no stranger to problems with the law.
Rayshon Works has already been arrested 21 times on a variety of crimes and he’s wanted now on multiple charges.
Syracuse Police describe a terrifying ordeal for a woman who broke it off with Works. She woke up to find him standing over her with what appeared to be a handgun and a knife.
“He was wearing a latex glove and told her that he wanted her to take the knife so her fingerprints would be on the knife,” said Sgt. John Savage of the Syracuse Police.
The woman feared for both her own life, and for that of her child.
The victim placed a cell phone call to 911, but was unable to speak. The call was still traced to her North Side apartment.
Works was jailed and then released. Police say that since he’s been out, he has violated an order of protection and is now wanted on multiple charges.
Police say Works may be traveling between Syracuse and Rochester.
Anyone with information on Works’ location should call (315) 422-5230.
