Fugitive of the Week: Violated probation on drug charges

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - One year ago, Syracuse Police caught Miguel Cruz-Rivera with drugs on the Westside and he was placed on probation. Now, he's wanted for violating that probation.

Fugitive Task Force Supervisor Joe Ciciarelli says Cruz-Rivera was arrested in the 200 block of Putman Street. "Syracuse Police Department's anti-narcotics squad arrested him and a number of other individuals," he said. "It was a big operation that involved multiple people and it had been going on for quite awhile."

Cruz-Rivera has been missing since January, after he failed to report to his probation officer. Police are still confident he's living in the Westside. A warrant for him was issued in January.

"We're looking for the viewers to give us an exact address for Mr. Cruz, so we can get him off the street," Ciciarelli said.
Miguel Cruz-Rivera is 5' 10" and weighs 210 pounds.
