Previously profiled 'Fugitive of the Week' wanted again

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- He's a man we profiled as the Fugitive of The Week in October, and Syracuse Police are asking you to once again be "On the Lookout" for 38-year-old Charles McGee.
Since our last report, he was caught thanks to viewers’ tips, and then released on charges. He is wanted again by Syracuse Police for assault, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief. Also, DeWitt Police and State Police, now have warrants on file for McGee.
“He’s no stranger to law enforcement and he’s no stranger to On the Lookout,” Syracuse Police Warrant Squad Sergeant John Savage told NewsChannel 9.
Sgt. Savage says McGee was released by the courts and given another date to return, despite his record of skipping court appearances.
“In some of those cases, he did go to court, was released to come back and did not return. That has been a pattern for him, as far as bench warrants being issued for his non-appearance in court. He has a total of 49 prior arrests since 1991, including 20 felonies and 21 misdemeanors,” Sgt. Savage said.
Along with his habit of skipping court dates, Syracuse Police say they've noticed another pattern with this wanted man.
“Definitely someone with seemingly alcohol problems, plus some anger issues when he's under the influence of alcohol,” Sgt. Savage said.
McGee is 6' tall and weights 250 pounds.
With your help, police hope to place him under arrest – again. If you can help police find Charles McGee, call the Syracuse Police Warrant Squad at 442-5230. All calls will remain confidential.
