Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Richard Steinbach, 51, has been arrested. Police say Steinbach was wanted by Rome, Syracuse, State Police and the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office.
After airing our report on Stienbach, authorities say they received numerous tips. Mr. Steinbach eventually turned himself into police late Tuesday morning.
Detectives say Steinbach was caught shoplifting at a K-Mart store in DeWitt, when he became violent, throwing punches and injuring a security officer.
He is facing several charges, to include robbery.
