Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - On The Lookout’s Fugitive of the Week had a mother-daughter relationship go from bad to worse, and ended with her being arrested and sentenced to probation.
44-year-old Jaye Pickard was arrested in 2010 for criminal contempt and criminal obstrution of breathing, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years probation.
“That incident involved her trying to suffocate her mother, who at the time was 81 years old and violating a criminal contempt order her mother placed upon her,” said US Deputy Marshall Task Force Supervisor Joe Ciciarelli.
But now deputies say she's wanted for Violation of County Probation.
“She failed to report and tested positive for alcohol, and was also picked up on a petit larceny charge in the Town of DeWitt,” Ciciarelli said.
The Task Force has searched for her in DeWitt and East Syracuse, but they can't find her.
“We are basically at a loss right now. We don't have any good leads to where she may be and we would like to get Miss Pickard into custody,” Ciciarelli said.
Officials describe Pickard as:
- Caucasian female
- 5 feet-3 inches
- 132 pounds
- Brown hair
- Blue eyes
