Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Every week, you're helping to make our communities safer places to live by being “On the Lookout” and playing a vital role with your tips to police.
This week, they're asking for information on a man indicted after a drug investigation; when police went to arrest him, he was nowhere to be found. He's had several addresses that include Madison County, and the west end of Syracuse.
Narcotics detectives say Jayson Clark is not someone you would want in your neighborhood. He's accused of selling cocaine to an undercover police officer. Police say when they searched his home in the 1000 block of Milton Avenue, they found more drugs and digital scales. Narcotics investigators who watched him say he was dealing drugs every day.
According to State Police Investigator Norm Ashbarry, “He was a substantial dealer, an upper end dealer of cocaine and he was bringing unwanted traffic to the Milton Avenue area.”
Clark has all sorts of tattoos, including one on his left hand that says JJ, and one on his right arm that says “Never Give Up, Never Fall.”
Despite the messages, it sounds like he was almost ready to give up. “One of our investigators has talked to him on the phone and he led us to believe he would turn himself in, but he has not done that,” Ashbarry said.
With your help, they would like to put an end to the criminal version of hide and seek with Jayson Clark, who is 6’ 2” and 240 pounds. He's been arrested before on drug, assault and burglary charges. The 29-year-old has also lived in Madison County, including Chittenango.
