Fugitive of the Week Adrian Alfaro arrested

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police say they received a number of tips after we profiled Adrian Alfaro Monday night on NewsChannel 9.

Police say 30-year-old Alfaro fled prior to his arraignment last month and was wanted on a felony charge of criminal contempt.

Thanks to viewer tips, police were able to identify a vehicle Alfaro was in and he was picked up on a West Side street Tuesday afternoon.

Alfaro -- who police say completely changed his appearance -- was arraigned Tuesday night in Clay Town Court.
