Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- This week’s fugitive is a 48-year-old man accused of stealing and forging checks to buy prescription drugs and heroin.
If you know someone who rooms with Andrew Thomas, you better tell them to keep an eye on their checkbook. According to police, Thomas is wanted for stealing and forging his room mates checks to support his addiction to heroin.
“Our concern is that he’s living with someone not knowing that he has this addiction. He could take a check out of the back of a checkbook and the victim might not even know until long after the checks are cashed,” explained Fugitive Task Force Supervisor, Joe Ciciarelli.
Thomas is wanted for forgery, falsifying business records, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. His last know address was in Liverpool.
“Our investigation has basically pushed us to the northern section of the county. The town of Clay, Salina. We don’t have any good addresses, so we are looking for the viewers’ help,” Ciciarelli said.
If you can help, call the Fugitive Task Force tip line at 473-7625. Andrew Thomas (pictured) has a medium build, brown hair and blue eyes. He’s 5’11” tall and weighs 180 pounds.
