Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - After three weeks of searching, there's still no sign of the fugitive of the week. Police are turning to the public to try and drum up some fresh leads on where Jason Pogroski is hiding.
Pogroski is considered armed and dangerous. He's wanted for skipping court dates on a felony drug charge, but there's no indication he's skipped town. With an extensive criminal history, finding him is a priority for the Fugitive Task Force.
"So, in totality, we have an individual wanted for drugs, prior gun possession, resisting arrest, assaulting police and vehicle pursuits, he's definitely someone we would like to get off the streets and lock up," said Fugitive Task Force Representative Julie Gossin.
Pogroski's last known address was along Caleb Avenue on Syracuse's Eastside. He also has ties to Onondaga County's northern suburbs, so police are asking residents there to be On the Lookout as well.
Pogroski is 5' 11", weighs 175 pounds, has hazel eyes and is bald. He has names tattooed on each hand, and a scar near his right eye.
