Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- This week’s fugitive is considered more of a nuisance than a danger. But with his past history, which according to police includes slashing tires in a Syracuse neighborhood, Deputy US Marshals would like to find him. That’s why we’re putting you ‘On the Lookout’ for a convicted drug dealer wanted for violating his federal supervised release.
Emanuel Rivera, 28, was let out of prison on supervised release one year ago. The program is designed to hold offenders accountable as they make their transition back to life in the community.
“He's been convicted of criminal mischief charges, slashing tires on the West Side, along with his conviction of the use of narcotics, he recently tested positive for cocaine,” said Fugitive Task Force Supervisor Joe Ciciarelli. “It seems Mr. Rivera has disappeared on us. We've been in contact with his parents, there's bit of a language barrier, but we know he's aware of the warrant and his parents did talk to him.”
Rivera has a distinctive diamond tattoo on his neck and Al Pacino on his right arm. He’s five-foot-eleven and weighs 235 pounds.
If you have any information on Rivera’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call 473-7625. All calls will remain confidential.
