Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police are asking you to be “On the Lookout” for a 35-year-old Syracuse man with 41 prior arrests. This time he's wanted for criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.
Police say Patrick Stewart pushed down his pregnant girlfriend twice. The six-foot-one, 170 pound man pushed her down, knocking the phone out of her hand as she was calling 911 for help.
“That call actually made it through 911 and one of the operators could hear a disturbance in the background,” said Sergeant John Savage, with the Syracuse Police Warrant Squad. “He then chocked her and obstructed her breathing.”
He didn’t stop there, according to police. He then knocked her down again, on top of their 16-month-old toddler, before taking off.
Stewart's 41 prior arrests include: 18 misdemeanors, six felonies, six violations of probation and 10 bench warrants.
If you can help police find Stewart, call the confidential tip line at 442-5230.
