Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police are asking you to be “On the Lookout” for a convicted burglar with plenty of arrests in his past. This time he’s wanted for violating his probation after targeting a school for scrap metal. This week's fugitive is Shannon Jackson.
"We're asking your viewers to carefully look at his picture (attached). He may be casing a neighborhood looking for his next opportunity," said Fugitive Task Force Supervisor, Joe Ciciarelli.
His last opportunity was a private school in the 400 block of West Onondaga Street, where he admitted to breaking into the school to steal radiators to scrap for money.
“He had a girlfriend. He has broken up with her, so we’re asking the public to try and narrow where he might be,” said Ciciarelli. “Mr. Jackson has 24 prior arrests, involving burglary, narcotics and resisting arrest.”
Jackson is 6’3” tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has a tattoo on his left arm that says “Born to Hussle.” If you can help police find Jackson, call the Fugitive Task Force at 473-7625.
