Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Fugitive Task Force is putting NewsChannel 9 viewers On the Lookout for a man with a year-old arrest warrant.
Samuel Bell disappeared just two months after he was sentenced to three years probation.
The Fugitive Task Force has limited information about the 39-year-old Bell.
“At this point, [we don’t know a lot regarding Bell’s whereabouts],” said Joe Ciciarelli of the Fugitive Task Force. “The people who we have interviewed have been cooperative, but we haven’t been able to show an address for Bell.”
Bell is one of 250 people in Syracuse and Onondaga County wanted for parole violation. The police encounter similar cases each week.
“What we are always concerned about, is if Mr. Bell is out doing something he shouldn’t be doing. If he gets pulled over, he could get nervous in that traffic stop and that’s going to turn into a pursuit. Then it endangers the public,” Ciciarelli said.
Bell is 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds.
His last known address was on Syracuse’s West Side.
Anyone with information on Bell should call the tip line at (315) 473-7625.
