Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Deputy US Marshals say they are searching for a woman so she can stand in court to face charges brought on after a drug raid in August.
Deputies say 33-year-old Omayra Marcano was caught off guard when Onondaga Sheriff’s Deputies raided a house on Syracuse’s West Side.
Marcano was one of four people arrested at the home located at 241 Fitch Street.
Deputies say they found heroin, cocaine, needles, scales and paraphernalia to sell heroin in the home.
Marcano was arrested, jailed and released, but failed to appear for court according to officials.
She is wanted for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell and she has reportedly been spotted on the South Side of Syracuse and in Auburn.
“She may be traveling between Syracuse and Auburn. So we're looking for Auburn viewers to take a look at her picture and provide an address for us,” said Task Force Supervisor Joe Ciciarelli.
Marcano is described by officials as:
- 5 feet-2 inches tall
- 90 pounds with a slim build
- Brown eyes
- Black hair
