Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - This week's Fugitive of the Week is 27 years old and has been arrested 16 times, eight times in a year. He's now wanted by police in Syracuse, East Syracuse and Cortland.
Syracuse Police are eager to get your tips. They say catching him now may prevent another theft.
Police believe Eric Depasquale is still in the Syracuse area, and knows they're looking for him.
Sgt. John Savage says, “We do believe we are very close to tracking him down, we're just looking for some extra tips to kind of push us in the right direction. That's where we are hoping the viewers can help out.”
Police call him a thief, who has skipped court dates on charges of forgery and larceny and has violated his probation.
“Whatever is going on in his life, he's going on an individual crime spree. Eight arrests in one year alone. It doesn't look like anything will change in 2013, so the sooner we can get him off the streets, the better the community will be,” Sgt. Savage said.
If you can point the warrant squad in the right direction, they'll take your tips confidentially at 442-5230.
