Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police are putting you on the lookout for a man they say has a violent past.
30-year-old Timothy Lankford, Jr., is wanted on a weapons charge, as well as assault and violating his parole.
Police say Lankford, Jr., got into a fight with a man on Onondaga Boulevard and stabbed him in the arm.
“He is definitely no stranger to the police. We have been looking for him for a while. He’s currently on parole,” said Sgt. John Savage with the Syracuse Police Warrant Squad.
Lankford’s arrest record is a long one and includes nine felony arrests. His last known address was on Syracuse’s Southside.
“He is definitely lying low and attempting to elude police,” Sgt. Savage continued.
Every bit of information, no matter how small, is important to police.
“It may be just the piece we need to locate him,” Sgt. Savage said.
If you have any information on Lankford’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call 442-5230.
