Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Just one day after our story about fugitive Leslie Torrance aired, police say they received a number of calls and one of those calls was Leslie herself.
Syracuse police say Torrance turned herself in Wednesday morning. She was wanted for criminal mischief, harassment, disorderly conduct and falsifying business records, according to police.
This brings On the Lookout's arrest count to 215!
Fugitive of the Week: Woman wanted on multiple charges
September 13, 2011
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A 25-year-old woman is on the run from Syracuse Police, again. And it’s not the second or third time they’ve had to search for Leslie Torrance (pictured to the left), who is now wanted on multiple charges.
Syracuse Police are very familiar with Torrance and they need your help locating her.
Syracuse Police Sergeant John Savage said she’s been arrested in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010. And every time she’s picked up she has, “Failed to reappear, was picked up, released, picked up released, and she's accumulated four warrants, now that we're trying to track her down.”
Torrance is wanted for criminal mischief, harassment, disorderly conduct and falsifying business records, according to police.
Authorities say while working at a convenience store on Syracuse's northside customers would pay their utility bills; police say Torrance would pocket the money.
That was three years ago, and the charge still hasn’t been taken care of.
If you can help police catch Torrance, they can only hope for a better outcome this time around.
