Cicero (WSYR-TV) – Cicero Police are looking for an 800-pound concrete fountain that they say was stolen from a business on Brewerton Road.

Granite International management says the fountain, which is joined with a statue of a woman pouring jugs, is valued at $2,895.

Cicero Police say it isn’t the first time they’ve seen an unusually large item stolen.

"We've seen several thefts over the last few years here. Usually big things like this that would require a truck…require several people. Maybe they're selling it on the side, maybe they're keeping it for personal use,” said Cicero Police Investigator Jim Meyers.

The item is particularly valuable because it was hand-carved and multiple colors were used in its design.

Anyone with information can send their tips vie email to epolicing@ciceropd.us or by calling (315) 699-3677, extension 18.
