DeWitt (WSYR-TV) – Police have arrested and charged a bookkeeper with stealing over $51,000 from a DeWitt medical care center.
Jessica Adi, 31, of Jordan, was arrested Friday and charged with grand larceny in the second degree, criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, forgery in the second degree, and falsifying business records in the first degree.
Police say an investigation showed Adi stole over $51,000 from the CNY Family Medical Care Center on Brittonfield Parkway in the Town of DeWitt. Adi was employed as a bookkeeper in the doctor’s office during the time of the theft.
Adi was arraigned in DeWitt Court and sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $5,000 cash bail. She’s due back in court on May 6.
