Chase Bank robbed in Syracuse; suspect sought

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- The Chase Bank, located at 801 James Street, was robbed just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the suspect approached at teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded money; however the teller did not see a weapon.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect has been described as a black man, in his 50s, with a medium build. He was wearing a light colored T-shirt, tan pants, and sandals with white socks at the time of the robbery. He also carried a blue bag with him.
