DeWitt Police investigate overnight robbery
DeWitt, New York (WSYR-TV) - DeWitt Police are On the Lookout for two suspects in an early-morning armed robbery. We're told around 2:30 a.m. Matthew Jones, 19, and his sister Shannon Jones, 21, were held up walking along Kinne Street.
The suspects stole Matthew's wallet and one suspect appeared to have a gun on him. The thieves escaped in a small silver sedan.
Both suspects are black men, about 18-years-old and five-foot-six. One was wearing a gray sweatshirt. The other was wearing a blue shirt and baseball hat. Anyone with information is asked to call DeWitt Police at 449-3640.
