DeWitt (WSYR-TV) – DeWitt Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a Chase bank Monday evening and who are suspected of robbing another branch earlier this month.

Police say two white males walked in through the back door of the East Genesee St. branch around 5:30 p.m.

The suspects passed a note to the teller demanding money, police say.

No weapon was shown and no one was injured. Police say the suspects took undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspects left through the same door, according to police, and ran toward the city of Syracuse.

Police believe the suspects may have robbed the Chase branch on Court Street Rd. and North Midler Ave. in East Syracuse on Jan. 14.

Police gave the following descriptions of the suspects on Monday:

Suspect 1 (left in the photo): White male, 5’10”, mid to late 20’s, medium build, wearing a dark jacket with a hood and dark tight fitting winter hat.

Suspect 2 (right in the photo): White male with a similar build wearing a dark jacket (possibly North Face), dark pants, and dark tight fitting winter hat.

Anyone who saw the men or a suspicious vehicle in the area is asked to contact the DeWitt Police tips line at tips@townofdewitt.com or 315-449-3640.
