Geddes (WSYR-TV) -- Geddes police are hoping you can help them catch whoever spray painted vulgar images where children play and go to school.

Police say the vandals struck three times in recent weeks and some of the graffiti was sexually explicit and racially offensive.

The vandals hit the dugouts in the Geddes Ball Park, the parking lot, dumpsters, stop signs, as well as Westhill High School and most recently Bishop Ludden High School.

“The cost of cleaning is extensive once you get the manpower and the chemical solutions,” explained Geddes Police Investigator, Chris Lukins.

Clean up crews got right to work, so the images are now gone, but the vandals did leave one piece of evidence behind – a can of blue spray paint.

“If you happen to missing a can of [blue spray paint], give us a call,” said Lukins.

If you have any information about this case, call Geddes Police before the ballpark vandals try to strike again.

Geddes Police also encourage you to call during the day, or night, if you hear or see anything suspicious in area parks or near schools.
