Ithaca Police looking for McDonalds armed robbery suspects

Ithaca (WSYR-TV) – Police are on the lookout for the people who robbed the Ithaca McDonalds on Tuesday night.

Ithaca Police say one suspect confronted employees and displayed what appeared to be a gun after entering the restaurant at 372 Elmira Rd. around 9 p.m.

That suspect is described as a white male of large build and stature, at least 6 feet tall and over 250 pounds. He was wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, and a purple bandana covering his face.

Police say the suspect took money and left in a mid-sized SUV that was waiting in the parking lot.

No one was injured during the incident, according to police.
