On The Lookout: Eight crimes in Solvay may be related

Solvay (WSYR-TV) - Solvay police are asking neighbors to be On the Lookout for thieves who are rummaging through garages, sheds and vehicles. A total of eight cars and sheds have been broken into in the First and Second Street areas of the Village in the past week during the overnight hours.

What's odd about these particular crimes is what they're stealing. A bike was stolen from one shed. Vehicles had only loose change stolen and the thieves passed over GPS units, cell phones and laptops. This has led police to believe the suspects may be teenagers.

If anyone sees or hears anything suspicious police ask that they call right away, don't wait until the morning.
