ROME, NY (WSYR-TV) - Rome Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Fastrac at 400 North James Street.

It happened about 12:40 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say a white male wearing a blue jacket and a green ski mask walked into the store and threatened the clerk with what appeared to be a handgun.

The suspect demanded cash from the clerk and ran away in an unknown direction with some money.

Police describe the suspect as 5'7'' tall.  Along with the blue jacket and green ski mask, the suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes and dark gloves.
